Anyone can take a good picture these days. Our camera phones are amazing and everyone has access to high quality tech. However, my job is not to merely take a good photo. My job is to artfully capture your uniqueness and history. My goal is to create an image that your future generations will be inspired by. 

You'll have thousands of photos on your phone to show friends and family of all the wonderful experiences you've had in life. But what will be hanging on your wall? What moment will you want to be reminded of every morning as you grab a cup of coffee and pass by the grand frame carrying a precious scene? Who do you trust to take this lasting image that reflects who you are and the happy moment you are in? 

My name is Melanie and I am an artist first. I have been studying art my entire life. At a young age my grandma taught me how to see shapes and images in the mess of scribbled lines. Everywhere we went, she would draw what she saw (even on a napkin in a restaurant) and it deeply inspired me. When I look at a person, I immediately see their face in array of beautiful shapes and features as if I had a pencil in my hand ready to sketch them. I appreciate their design. I see the shades and rich colors in their skin, their hair, and their eyes.  This led to a new amazing creative outlet in photography.

Although I did not pick up a professional camera until I was 23, my artistic view of life and people is what allows me to create artful photography that reflects a passionate story. I have honestly discovered a new joy in connecting with people through this venture. It is an honor for me to passionately serve my clients and put my years of studying art and world travel to their advantage. I am organized, thoughtful, creative, flexible, caring, passionate and always ready to create your masterpiece. I can’t wait to meet you!
